Decided I would try and take some notes with OneNote on an iPad Mini the other day. I already know it's not an ideal setup, it was more of an experiment to compare to something like my Note 5.

Anyhow, I noticed that OneNote kinda sucks. I can't resize or move text windows? Automatic deal breaker for me. Then I started looking for other apps that might work, and I can't seem to find anything that is any good. I would like to be able to input text and handwriting (be it a finger or stylus), and have features like shape recognition (draw a rough square, it turns into a perfect one). Basically, I'm looking for the S Note equivalent for iOS. Does it exist?

Have you tried evernote's penultimate?

I messed around with it on both an ipad2 and an ipadair2, and liked it.

I'll give Penultimate a try when I get home today. Does it easily let you switch between typing and handwriting?

Edit: So after trying Penultimate, I couldn't even find the option for text input, so that's a no go.

Is there really nothing that is comparable to S Note on the iOS side?
