One XP-Pro-SP2 system will not connect to others. Any idea why?

I have had a wired network running for a long time now. I have 4 XP-Pro-SP2 systems and a Win98SE system or two around. All can share their drives...except one of the XP-Pro systems. It has a raid 0 volume if that matters.

It can see all of the other systems and can SEND them files OK. The other systems can see the system name of this "bad system", but when I try to browse it, no drive directories show up. Everything else works...any ideas? It seems to be setup like all the other XP systems.

TIA

Is the file and print sharing exception enabled on the Windows firewall on the XP box?

Are you sure you don't have the firewall "accidentally" enabled on this machine, or any other firewall? Sounds like classic firewall symptoms.

Goto my computer - tools menu - folder options - view tab and enable simple filesharing on the machine that you cannot access.

Also double check that windows firewall isnt on.

Well, simple file sharing was on. I unchecked it and then rechecked it to see if I could force it. Same issue. This system can see and send "stuff" to any other in the house but no other system can browse this one. They just see the Name of the computer with no drives to view.
