My wife (Elita here in OT) was born and raised there and we go down every year. The beaches near Tela are amazing! Just watch out for jellyfish...


Have a "Plato Typico", grab a beer, and enjoy! I'll be down there myself this fall/winter.

I'll be there almost 3 weeks.I start off in Tegucigulpa and finish my trip in Tela. It will be truly F@#king amazing.

Yep - you'll love it there, I know I do! Wait unitl you fly into 'Teguc'... and you'll love Tela. Try to stop by San Pedro Sula if you can because its a great city.

And if you can go to the ruins in Copan - thats just unbelievable...
