Hi guys. At our network, we have a main server that has the software that we use. In our melbourne location, our workers all RDP into the Windows 2003 Server and log in to the Windows Server with their Active Directory username, which then brings them to their desktop where they access the software we use for our warehuse management.

Anyway, 1 user, when he clicks 'Print' in this software, it takes about 5 minutes (the program looks as if its going to hang) and then comes good. No other computer does this.

I had the user log into the server using a different active directory user, but using the same computer and his same username for the software and it works flawlessly.

How would I go about fixing this? Would I just delete that users profile from the Windows Server, and it will recreate it upon logging in? As in delete it from the Documents and Settings folder?

Why would this happen? Im guessing something to do with the users profile.

Sounds like something is wrong with his printer settings that are being used when he is using his own account profile. Deleting his profile may help if the next time he sets up his printer through a rebuilding of his profile its setups properly. You might check to see if the printer settings that he using now are correct as a first option though. Maybe hes trying to access a network path that takes awhile to get connected.
