One thing I do like about Palin

Counterbalancing McCain?s reputation as a political dinosaur, Palin smoked pot when it was legal in Alaska, admitting, ?I can?t claim a Bill Clinton and say I never inhaled?, and her children, Track, 19, Bristol, 17, Willow, 13, Piper, 7, and Trig, four months, have hippie-sounding names. Track, who joined the US infantry in September last year, is about to be deployed to Iraq. ?It has really opened my eyes to international events and how war impacts everyday Americans like us,? she said.

Good for you Gov. Palin. Maybe you can put the War on Drugs at the top of your agenda once you're in the Whitehouse.

yes mccain supporters and mccain have hammered obama on experience especially with foreign policy - and he picks a vp whose eyes has finally really been opened to international events and how war impacts us here at home just now in the last year since her son is to be deployed.

you cant make this shit up, and the right wingers hypocrisies are exposed for all who wish to reside in reality.

jesus. how many Palin threads to we need?

she's gotten more coverage on the internet than biden has since Al Gore invented it.

Biden is boring, while for some reason Palin's closet is packed with skeletons that just keep flying out.

Not gonna happen. McCain is strongly against legalizing marijuana for medical purposes.

Biden was thoroughly vetted.

Palin got one meeting, a call, and a slap on the ass.

Don't be so surprised that this country has a lot to discover about the former mayor of Podunkville, AK.

They are just flying out!

If Palin smoked some weed when it was legal, its a non issue to me. And giving them hippie sounding names when Trig is a snowmobile term is really over the top.

As is Obama...

Or he's not "strongly" against it, but not for it, so basically means he won't do shit. Maybe get the DEA to back off CA a little bit.

Yup. He changed his stance. Electability > Integrity

Both candidates are making those compromises - McCain a lot more, IMO.

McCain is a traitor. He put his election hopes above the welfare of the nation by nominating a nobody who has no experience while he's at an age where he could easily drop dead. A man can't exhibit much greater disrespect for ones country than that.

It wasn't legal when she smoked it.. still a non-issue for me, though I can come up with something slimey to say like maybe she shouldn't have been hitting the bong when her daughter was upstairs getting knocked up out of wedlock. That sort of thing. If this is the new politics I think I might take it back for a return.
