One stupid Question for today??

I am trying to move the location of my internet explorer history and cookies folders but not having much success at all.
Any one tell me how??
I tried HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders to no avail.

Have you tried installing TweakUI and using that instead?

tweakui does not let u move the history and cookies folders in windows xp pro

Have you tried...going in Internet Options, Temp. Internet Files, Settings.... there is a option to move folder....unless you tried that and don't work i dunno.

did that moved internet temp folder but this does not move the 2 folders i want 2 move

so it's just your history folder then??....since cookies are stored in temp folder.

Cookies are stored in a different folder than the temp folder in win xp

well i suppose, they are saved in a couple folders.... each user has it's own cookie folder as well as temp internet files....good luck.
