I ripped off the old bottom seal, since one side of the garage always got wet in rain or snow, and I could see that the seal was deteriorated at that side, so, went and got a new seal, removed the old one, sanded it slightly, then, applying the new seal, that one side still has 1/2" space higher than the rest of the door.
Think of it as looking like | _______----| where --- is higher than the rest of the panel.
Thing is, the top of the panel is flush, it is just that one panel that somehow shrunk at one bottom corner about 7" long.
I know the floor is level though.

I could use some shims, but, not sure that would look very good.
I don't really want to tear the garage door apart to buy 1 new panel either, I just don't have all the tools for the springs and tension stuff, and I am not even sure they make these 30 year old panels anymore.

Any other ideas on how I can either adjust that 1 panel corner, or what to use to fill that 1/2" gap that is 7" long?

a wood door??

just add the shim to the bottom of the door. if the door is level, and the floor is level.... i think you need a new level.

Oh, right, forgot to mention it was wood.
Went to the lumber store, and they had free scraps, so, it all worked out, and I found the right size, just had to trim it slightly.

When I asked about it over there, they said it is a common issue with older panels.

I guess your door expand/ squeeze because level of humidity is always changing. Where you live?
