any one know where to get info on a Ikura-Seiki fan.It is a 165x165x55 and all the sites I come up with are non English.

I don't know about that particular fan, but I've got a Ø150*55 mm fan.
230 VAC, 40W engine to pull the darn thing...
 
this one's 100v but with power at the wall not much higher it runs at wall (120) current.Sure moves some air.Sounds like it does also.
 
Sounds like a turbine winding up.Once up not bad but alot louder than all the fans I got now on my case. I take that back i just fired it up . the cat runs and hides and it reminds me of an air raid sirene. Yep it's loud.Might play to see what it will do for overclocking, but it is loud.
Maybe an whole house air exchanger would suit it?????
 
Now it's run just abit it has the cpu only 2 degrees warmer than room temp. Not bad.But the noise . WOW. it does move air.
