One quick question regarding file transfer

I have tried the windows xp file transfer wizard but it seems to be useless. The laptop is connected to the new rig via an USB cable. Thanks for any help =)
 
both my old laptop and new pc has usb 2.0
i'm trying out the file transfer wizard again...it takes forever though, b/c i have like 40GB of multimedia on my laptop
 
í guess i'll just buy two more network cables and set up a LAN..this has been too much fsking hassle for me
