Out of 6 million in florida if there is, after re-count, a difference of only 500, will there be a re-vote legally? What about 3 people? When does it happen?
It's not a re-count. Not yet. It's a re-tally. They're retallying the numbers from each county to see if they truly added up correctly the first time. If they are, with such a close race, the law stipulates that there must be a recount. Then they'll go back and count each individual ballot. But we're also still waiting for those stupid abscentee ballots.
It has never happened in a Presidential election. Read this account of the 1876 election. Very similar story as to what is going on now, Florida was also involved in this one.
The next president is going to suck even worse then expected. As if it wasn't enough that people don't care for either of these guys, now there will be questions about legitimacy no matter who wins this one. This will be extremely partizan 2-4 years by any measurement.
You are wrong. Bush has won and, by halfway through his first term, he will be one of the most popular President's in history. Feel free to write this down, so you don't forget it.
