one question about mem and cpu

ok, i can run stable at 2.5ghz and memory at 229mhz. at 2.6ghz i can only have the mem at 185.5mhz stable.

im a gamer should i have it at 2.5 with faster mem or at 2.6 but mem goes down alot?

Have you still not benchmarked your 2 scenarios??? You cant always rely on other people's opinions with these things. No 2 rigs are the same. If its games performance that concerns you, run 3dmark05 & some game time demos. I would suspect the higher cpu speed will just win it.

You aren't going to get a huge differance with either of those settings in gaming, unless you are running at a low resolution(like 800x600). At 1024x768 you will be mostly GPU limited, and higher almost entirely GPU limited. Memory latency isn't a big issue since the A64 has the onboard memory controller. There will be some programs that benifit some from more bandwidth, and some that won't, but it won't be a huge differance either way, so I would just stick with 2.6ghz @185.5 for the mem(as a matter of fact I did myself, I am at 238x11 2.618ghz, mem at 2-3-2-5 @187mhz)
