Today I was resitting my freezer 7 pro after reapplying arctic silver 5 on my Core 2 duo processor and I notice one of those annoying white pin is broken thus the heatsink won't seat, therefore I have to reuse my stock core 2 duo fan. Do Arctic cooling propvide warrenty to the heatsink that was sold only loike 6-7 months ago?

And whoever design socket 775 type heatsink should be shot, how can they made it such a pain to install.

Shoot the intel (idiot) guy who designed the mounting system 😉

Arctic cooling has a 6 year warranty on those heatsinks (actually most of their products carry that 6 year warranty). I don't think it should be a problem to RMA it. Another option is to disassemble one of those pins from the stock cooler and put it on the freezer 😀

they do, but shipping needs to be to the UK.

at this point it might be cheaper and faster for you to buy another one.

Xellos2099, try finding a Sunbeam CR-SW-775 cooler. It seems to be similar in performance to the AC7 Freezer, but costs less.
