One of the Internet's darkest days - SatireWire going off-the-air.

The end of the era.
Andrew Marlatt calls it quits after deciding that he's no longer having as much fun as he used to, and would rather devote his time to more important things like his family (imagine that).

As of today, while we still have things like This Is True, Dr. Fun, and Penny Arcade, the Internet has nonetheless just become a lot un-funnier.

I didn't know his name or even that SatireWire was just a "he," but I always read the articles ever since I first heard of it. You shouldn't definitely put down your drink, cover your keyboard and go read some of those articles.

ROck. Unfortunately, most of his articles lampooned the actual news stories at the time, and they aren't as funny taken out of that context. A lot of them were things people were arguing about on ATOT, and then I'd go read SW and ROFL
