To play BF2 (if you have the game) in native res. right click your shortcut and under target type in +szx 1680 +szy 1050 after the +fullscreen 1 command.

If you don't mind the 90 day warranty, Dell has them in their outlet for around $430.

It was interesting to watch them as I refreshed every 20 sec or so and see the inventory go down by one (limited).

Wow, it's pretty obvious you don't have kids.

Computer hardware is a stuff- totally meaningless. Crap you choose to spend your money on.

If you ever do hold your newborn child in your arms, you'll know what I mean. I've got a lot of nice computer equipment, I'd trade the lot of it for one more day with my son over the course of our lives.

Its not just bigger, its better. Component input.. no back light bleeding, faster response time, etc. 4" may not sound like a lot, but it is. Its a much bigger LCD.

Dual 2405s is a sight to behold. I had two at one point in time (was returning one). They took up the entire length of my desk.

I've got the 2005 and love it. I couldn't justify twice the price for the 2405 (especially since I need to get a new computer to go along with the new monitor), though it would have been sweet.

Ah, it just struck me as wrong, like saying:
"I love this monitor like a cancer patient loves his waning days of life"

It's a monitor, it's an OK monitor, but it totally trivializes the experience of having your newborn child in your arms to compare it to owning an OK monitor.

I'm glad he likes his monitor though, and I suppose he can express this in any way he likes. I'm also free to say he's trivializing what is for most people the most important moment of their life by comparing it to something most people could do any day of the week.

You've never heard anyone refer to something expensive that they love (ie a car) as their "baby?" Get over yourself.

Different than what he said IMO. Get over yourself.

relax - gesh.

Nothing wrong with what the OP said. I'd say similar things myself (being a youngster with no kids). Sometimes toys are your "greatest joys".

Every LCD could potentially have back light bleeding, in fact they almost all do just varying degrees. But yes it IS bigger and 4" is quite significant, however you will NEVER be able to run newer games at the native rez unless you have an extreme rig, people never mention that.

I know what he meant. Instead of holding a baby, I used the term "I about **** in my pants" at the site of my 2405. Would this expression been more acceptable, Rollo?

These monitors are great, aren't they.
