OOKK what does it take to really qualify for this sport? all i've seen so far is skinny south asians and this fat guy

most of those skinny south indians are fast-paced bowlers, who run about 20 yards before pitching the ball. Other than that you need sophisticated batting: good form for hitting, hand-eye coordination, great wristwork, and placement of the ball.

You dont really need to be fit like bball player. Fielding is pretty elementary.
