For those of you sick of Tabbrowser extensions and how it slows down firefox heavily, but are also sick of combining Tabbrowser Preferences with MiniT, TabX, UndoLastTab, LastTabFocus...etc. Meet the extension that finally makes all the features of both possible through efficient, clean, and fast coding:

Tab Mix

Go into extensions then double click Tab Mix for the settings. You can change it so that it hides the tab bar with only one tab. It uses code from TabBrowser Preferences and a slew of other extensions, so it works in the same fashion.

Edit: You can even have it show the close button on each tab only when your mouse is over it. I thought this was pretty cool.

That's weird...I'm using "Mostly Qute" and have had no problems at all.

I'll take the default tab thank you very much. I want the double click closes tab extension back though.

Does Opera wipe your @ss too? There's no mention of Opera in this thread, it pertains only to firefox, you want an opera thread, then go start your own!!!:disgust:

EDIT: I don't care about what opera can and can't do out of the box. I've used it, I have 8.0 beta installed on my comp right now, but I just don't like it and it doesn't render some of the websites I have to use (university pages) correctly at all. If you wanna say how much better Opera is than Firefox, then go start your own thread, don't hijack mine dagnammit!!!

Stop crying. You're trying to tell people about an add on that has certain feature and we're just telling you that Opera already does all of that. Plus it loads pages faster. We're all just trying to make browsing easier for people.

unless of course your advertising your own crap, then  to you

And has mouse guestures. And decent tabbed browsing support. And uses less memory. And has a mail client.

I fear that you're forgetting the auto-forward feature and slick interface too.

I use FF but I hate tabs. Just having a separate window for each thing i'm browsing works great for me. :D

is there an extension that will let me tile two (or more) open tabs so I can view them at the same time?
