Brandon Lloyd made one of the most athletic plays ever during the Giants/Niners game. He caught a pass one handed, full body extended, way up in the air for a big gain. It was called back by a holding penalty. You can watch it here at about 30 seconds in.

The Niners are so bad their "play of the game" was a play that didn't count. LOL.

Yeah, it's not easy being a Niners fan these days. A far cry from The Catch by Dwight Clark. That was freakin' sweet.

That was a spectacular catch, no doubt about it. Too bad about the holding call, but that's just the kind of season the 49ers are having.

San Fran fans... at least they're still young. If they can come up and become more experienced together, you might have the makings of a solid team. I seriously think you need to take Alex Young out though, for the sake of his psychological well-being.

As a Niner fan it's kind of sickening to watch a player with his skill being essentially wasted. He'll wallow around with a few more average seasons until the team starts to come around and then he'll be a free agent and will leave for greener pastures.

That's the main reason JR had so many great seasons. He got there just as the Niners were heading up and always had a great team to play on his entire time there. All those great linebackers like Ulbrich and Smith and receivers like Lloyd and Battle are wasting their best years because we have an inept owner.

I still think York should be forced by the league to sell the team to that Steve Young/Brent Jones/ Ronnie Lott conglomerate out of San jose. Or maybe the league could give them a new team....in Sacramento. :)

Reminds me of watching John "JJ" Jefferson when he played for the Chargers during the "Air Coryell" offense years.

And then they'll all be free agents and Mike Shanahan will scoop them up and we get to start over again.
