Linflas
Lifer
She was a tan American cocker spaniel somewhere between 7-11 years old and she passed away in my wife's arms on our way to the vet. We discovered after a surgery to remove a mass from her liver back on December 21 that she had hemangiosarcoma which is an always fatal particularly nasty cancer. She was the picture of health until December 8 when I first noticed something wrong with her and took her to the vet.
They were originally thinking that she had some kind of disk problem in her spine from the initial symptoms. After a couple more episodes a vet at the emergency clinic found the mass after noticing her belly seemed to have fluid in it. It was incredible how fast this went from the time we first noticed something wrong. She was so full of life that I am still somewhat stunned at all that has transpired.
RIP Katie. 🙁
