-1-|9-x|=-12
a.){-1,21}
b.){-4,22}
c.){-2,20}
d.){-1,23}

This is so basic yet I can't help him figure it out...

How would any of the answers make sense, since whatever answer you get with X is an absolute value so if you say plugged -1 into the answer, it would be -1 - |10|, so it would be -1 - 10 or -1 - (-10)...

God I'm confused, I ahven't done this stuff in at least 4 years...

Any ATOTers have some help???

Just tryin to figure out how to do it, but if you'd like giving hte answer with work showing how to do it so I can explian it to him, I'd appreciate it...

its c

break it down
-9 - 2 = -11
|-11| = 11
-1 - 11 = -12

9-20 = -11
|-11| = 11
-1 - 11 = -12
