Her name is scooter and shes 13. She has tumors all over though, so its for the best because shes in alot of pain.

I just wanted to dedicate a thread to her, i'll post pictures in a few minutes.

I'll miss you scooter, i love you. :(

EDIT: Due to the inability of me to find any pictures of her before she got sick, im gonna leave the pictures i do have out of the thread.

Sorry dude.

I usta think cats sucked until my kitten, Vegas was stuck under my apt as a two week old and I had to bottle feed the little bastard every 3 hours. I fear the day he has to go, but I can only hope for 13 years! :)

I'll throw back a brewski tonight in Scooter's honor!

When our kitty was put to sleep :(, we were in the room petting him and telling him how wonderful he was. It helped us and we like to think that it was pleasant for him as well. I hope you can join Scooter in the room, too.

I have done this 6 times now and it never gets any easier. Sorry to hear of your loss but at least she will no longer be suffering.:(

Been there. Done that. I still miss my old cat, Eli, a 16 lb. black tom. On a cold winter night, his favorite trick was to duck under the covers and full length body snuggle. :)

Same problem. Same ending. Not fun, at all. :( :( :(

I'm sorry. We had to put our cat of 17 years down a couple of years ago. Tonka was his name. He was a huge cat. Very sweet in his older years, but mean and fiesty when he was younger.

Thank you all for your condolences, i was going to post pictures but the only ones i have of her with me (im up at school for the weekend) are ones taken while she was sick this past week. Id rather not post pictures of her in that condition, its depressing to see. :(

I'm sorry to hear about it. :( One of my dogs had to be put to sleep a while ago and it's very hard to deal with. You're doing what you know is best for the cat even though it's hard.

I'm very, very sorry.

It's never fun to lose a pet. We had to put our dog to sleep the October before last. I think she was around 13 or 14. I still miss her sometimes. Hope you feel better :(

Gonna have to post a sympathy post in this threads. Pets are family members, they may not communicate like a child, but you love them in a very similar way. Losing a pet is losing a family member, the burial may not be the same, but you don't want them to suffer much like you wouldn't want a family member to suffer.

Remember your pet, remember the fun when they were small. You'll get another pet someday, but no new pet can replace an older pet you once had. Hope your day gets better!
