If i could offer you some advice, do not watch house of 1000 corpses when it comes out....
The grossest thing i have ever seen. Worse than faces of death by far....
no wonder the MPAA didnt like it. I doubt any of them could stomach it!:disgust:

Yes, it's going to come in in April or May. Lions Gate finally picked it up after Universal and MGM decided not to release it.

heh trust me, unless your into people wearing other peoples skin, people being slapped by their own hands that was cut off..... i wont continue

I hate it when people tell me not to watch movies.

They're always right in the end... the rebel in me mandates that I have to see it.

I can stomach violence in movies... because it's fake. I don't like the real stuff, IE: faces of death.

It's not so much, I can't stomach the real stuff, I'd just rather not see it.

Ok here is the story... originally slated to come out spring 2000 from Universal. Rob Zombie is the director. Universal execs screened it and said tone down the gore or they wouldn't release it, Zombie said no way and got the rights back to the movie. He was shopping around for a distributor and 2001 MGM was interested, they watched it and that fell through. Lions Gate finally picked it up last year (Lions Gate is like Miramax in its early years) its scheduled to come out very soon There is an updated trailer but I can't remember the date it said.. May? How do I know all this stuff? I'm a projectionist and I've been following the movie since the very first Universal trailer during xmas of 1999 got quite a few complaints. I'm interested in watching it but if its just all gory like Mrfrog said then it probably wouldn't be worth it, if I wanted to see gore I would watch dead alive or story of ricky or something.

Yep, I have to have this movie, now!

And the only problem with Faces of Death is that most of the "really gross" stuff is faked.

Yep. The little monkey scene where they eat him for dinner was all faked. Kinda glad to hear that, though. I always felt sorry for that monkey (although there are probably plenty more like him out there).
