One more super quick tax question... about banks and interest

will the bank mail me a 1099-int form? or do i have to request it? when do they mail them?

They will automatically mail it to your current mailing address on file. They are mailed just before January 31, 2002 so you should have ALL your tax documents within 1-2 weeks.

I know the feeling. I'm anxious to find out if we're going to owe or get a refund. It would be nice to to break even give or take $100.

Do they have a website? I got all my stuff from my credit union electronically.

bank of america.... i didn't see a page for the 1099-int... there is a page where they list the year 2002 interest, but i dunno if that is the same as the 1099-int or not.

Law says everything has to be mailed by the 31st. You should receive your forms by the 14th.

bank of america.... i didn't see a page for the 1099-int... there is a page where they list the year 2002 interest, but i dunno if that is the same as the 1099-int or not.
it isn't
