Are you sure you don't mean marquetry? That is the closest thing I could find...

mar·que·try also mar·que·terie (märk-tr). n., pl. mar·que·tries, also mar·que·teries.

Material, such as wood or ivory, inlaid piece by piece into a wood surface in an intricate design and veneered to another surface, especially of furniture, for decoration.

it might be marquetry, but on my sheet it's marketry.

It's somehow related to the title "Handmade and Homespun"

This is for US history, but in our teacher's case, he calls it

Living History

It should be an interesting class, next chapter we get to start a webpage, and before tests we can print out all the info that we need from the page.
