One more question for video card purchase

What is better? A Radeon8500LE 64MB or a Gainward GF3 Ti200 128MB RAM?

I plan to keep this card for at least two years, so drivers support is *essential*. Apart from that, which do you think that will last more, the 64MB Radeon or the 128MB GF3Ti200?

Give me this final help please! :)

PS: I read some bad things in the MSI forum about the MSI GF3 Ti200 128MB (TV out didn't work with nVidia reference drivers etc). Pitty...

I'd go the 8500, its tech is a bit ahead of the GeFroce3 core. The drivers have been making pretty good progress, performance continues to increase and most/all issues have been addressed.

If you need a video card right now get the 8500LE. It should last you a while. Else do what spanky007 said just wait for the ti4200. Remember to get the 64mb version of the 4200 because it is clocked faster and also cheaper too.

Thanks, I'll think about the things you told me and see what I'll do. I could get a 4200, but it won't be so cheap, at least for the first couple of months (new product-high price) - the best that could happen would be to lower the prices of the last pieces of GF3Ti. I could get a good one for 110$ :D
