i'm trying to decide between these two rascals..

only difference is the one inch, a lot of weight, and the sony has both dvi and hdmi ports...i thought hdmi was essentially the same thing, just a step up. why would it have both?

anyway, any help from videophiles out there would really help me out, i'm lost in this kind of stuff 🙂
