Sure, here's a 15 Foot with Redmere Technology...

From the first link you post, this was the first review...

FRAGILE...mine broke at the connector...sent it back to San Jose, CA office...no response...Rebates not being processed.
Facebook of company..last written in 2012. US office not answered phone, e mails, US mail.
If you buy it you are not going to get that rebate...you paid top dollar for this cable

I think the OP's deal is better. ;)

Okay I understand you now. RedMere are very thin very light weight and the hdmi plug is smaller then the standard plug on the outside. (same size as to the jack) So if a standard wire and plug works for you you do not need this product. Some people need it the standard plug gets in the way if you compare the plug head on the one you linked it is 2x the thickness of a RedMere plug head. If you don't need this and a standard size works for you buying a standard one is most certainly lower in cost. When I get them in the mail from newegg I will post a photo to show why it is necessary for some pc's.

I just use a razor knife and trim down the plastic shroud around the cheap ones. If I ruin it, i'm out a few $, no big deal.
