One monitor, Two Computers. How can I do it?

I'm sure that there must be some type of adapter. Does anyone know the name for the adapter. Or if someone can post a link to a place that has it, I would appreciate it. Thanks

Just get you a KVM switch. Manual one will cost about 25 buks. A couple of cables and you are in business. I bought a 5 port switch and all the cables for 50 bucks.

Breaker78, that's the exact same one I was looking at. Nice price for it.

I'll be ordering mine pretty soon.

ya any KVM switch will work
I am currently using a USB 2 port Hawking Tech switch for my Athlon 800 and my Celeron 950 machine
works great so far. 🙂

Just a coincidence, but I have the same Linksys KVM switch that Breaker78 mentioned. It's very convenient to use for switching between computers (tap CTRL twice), and has some other neat features. But there are somethings I noticed that bother me. I noticed slightly faded colors when routing my monitor through the box for my 2 computer (now I just use the separate HD15 and BNC inputs on the monitor). Another thing, I use the SHIFT key for certain actions in games (like jump or walk), and SHIFT also happens to be a key that the Linksys KVM monitors for switch commands, so there's roughly a half second delay between pressing the key and the computer actually seeing the keypress. This isn't good for me in games like Tribes, so now I have to sell the KVM and get a different brand if the key-switching can't be disabled. 😛

Hmmm, thanks for that info Possum.

Maybe I'll look at Hawking or Belkin or a different model Linksys.
