Question One forum not sending out email notifications

I belong to a number of forums and almost always have e-mail notifications sent out for that thread I was in getting new activity.
This one isn't; avsforum.com
I have contacted two different "administrators' and they are claiming it's my browser (naturally). I cleared cash & cookies as instructed and unchecked, then re-checked e-mail notifications in the threads list I'm following, but no difference.

The stranger thing, the 'Conversations' (PM's) notifications do come in. I even change my e-mail address, but no difference. And yes, I've check my Spam folder. I have no firewalls.
I have run into this elsewhere on occasion, but not to this level.

Any ideas here??

Funny, I was notified this time of your entry, but I see my post was edited by a modulator. I would like to know exactly why ! Also interesting I never received any replies to my original post and that is with over 1,000 'views'.

On this forum (It is call "AnandTech") there is setting that let set your preferences.

I have it set to receive emails but they are not being sent. No, they aren't going to spam folder.

Do you have the checkbox checked for:

Content options

• Automatically watch content you create…
  • • and receive email notifications

For avsforum it should be similar, but that's only if there's no bug...

Make sure to click Save at the bottom if you make any changes.

For me, At the top of every page, I see links, like "jump to new", "mark read", etc. One of those links is "watch". When I click that, a little window pops up like this:

• and receive email notifications
• without receiving email notifications

There's two buttons to choose emails or no emails.

Maybe you have a browser setting or blocking software that prevents the little window?

Just a thought.

I found that and have it set for emails and still I never get them.
