I already told my fiance that she is not getting flowers for Valentines day. She will get dinner and a 'romantic' date...but i'm not spending that much on flowers. This summer when the price goes back down i'll buy her some then...or i'll just sneak into someones garden and take them :)

I just hate to pay so much for something that dies in a week. I'll buy her something of use. If she wants like a necklace or soemthing, cool. It won't be in the trash in a week.

Very nice, only $30 delivered!

My wifes Bday is the 14th as well, so if I forget I'm toast!

What a crappy company. I opted to go through falconfarms.com so I could specify a delivery date. Well, when I placed my order and clicked the submit button, I got a script error. So I clicked back and tried submitting again... same error. So I log into my CC account and see charges pending for 2 orders. However, when I called the # provided they told me that it was just pending and I would not be charged unless FedEx actually ships it. Some Indian guy could barely speak English for customer service, then he transferred me like 3x and I was finally hung up on. I do not plan on dealing w/ them any more and I hope my charges are refunded (which will probably take 10 days). At this point I'd rather just pay $60 for a dozen roses with rest assured it will make it on time. Buy at your own risk!

This is an excellent deal for mail order flowers.

For those of you with a Costco nearby, they usually raise their prices near Valentines day, but you can still get a dozen roses for a reasonable price.

Last time I gave my wife flowers, she said what a waste...next time just give her the cash to go shopping. So cash it it... :) I'm easy.

Somehow I doubt giving my wife $30 will pay off the same dividends as the flowers sent to her office. LOL It's cost vs effect.

FalconFarms cannot deliver on Sundays or Mondays. Sundays I understand, but Mondays? I wonder if that's because 14th is Monday this year.

I can only imagine where you will take her to eat that costs less than $30 like this flower deal.. Then to top that off, flowers is still a better deal. I have not met a meal yet that lasted a week in anyones stomach, before it was flushed down the toilet.

get ready to laugh at me ... i ordered roses for my wife this am from a local florist, i did need a specific variety, oceana, that are the only roses i've ever bought her, and it's going to cost $85 + delivery fee!!!!! however they will guarantee that they get delivered to her next monday morning at work. damn expensive but she'll love having them at work.

Damn. $85. If it's a local florist - why not do delivery yourself? I usually go that route, and it goes a long way. Last year it was around $50 for me, I think.

can't deliver myself 'cause i'll be out of town on business ... another reason why it's worth the big bucks to get her something nice - to make up for being gone!

My gf worked as a florist for 7 years. These cheap roses won't cut it for her...
(yes, there is a difference between these and good roses but if your gf doesn't know, these are good!)
:)
