I have a ASUS A7VKT133 (this board works at 200 BUS),and i'm thinking of buying a AMD Athlon/T-Bird 1.333 (bus 266). My doubt is: What settings will my board do with this CPU, i mean, it will setting a clock fo 13x with a BUS of 100 (13*100=1300), and it will recognize the CPU speed with 1333 and not only 1300?? Can anyone help me

If you are asking if you motherboard will run the fsb at 133MHz, then no. The KT133 chipset did not go much above 115Mhz when trying to OC. So, 133MHz is really out of the question. Now, you could unlock the CPU and run it at 100MHz x 13 for 1300MHz like you mentioned.

Do i need unlock my board in order to get even 13*100? I mean, in the BIOS options, there is a option 13x (i have the last update of the BIOS 1011)! What do you mean by unlock my Boad?

unlocking the CPU is what he meant.

Basically connecting the L1 bridges with the graphite of a pencil... I am sure there are still directions to be found in google...
T-birds were easy to "unlock", meaning getting the multiplier higher than you should be able to.

Ok, now i'm more illustrious about the unlock the CPU! But i still have a doubt: my BOARD will automatic detect thsi CPU and make (automatic) setting of 13x * 100 = 1300, and detect 1300 or even the real speed of 1333??

I'm sorry beeing so insistent on this.... :)

i mean, i can put this CPU with a BUS of 266 in my board with a BUS of 200, right? ii know that i'll not get the maximium of the real speed of the bus, but it will work fine even a 200, right??
