I tried to reg some domains with one service and after waiting 5 days I took the advice to try another service so I did. Now one domain is listed with both services and one was cancelled and removed by the first service but exist at the second service.

So basically:

DomainOne.be = shows up at both registers

DomainTwo.be = Cancelled at the first but active at the second.

Well at this point I must say that registerfly.com really sucks.

1. When you reg a domain there they use: ns1.mdnsservice.com, ns2.mdnsservice.com instead of there own DNS, this means you have to change to there DNS to do anything like url fowarding. I tried to switch it to their DNS but it doesn't seem to be working yet after 4 dats of waiting. I'm still greeted with the same message that I must switch to there DNS to use the advance tools.

2. It takes forever, it says 12 to 24 hours which really means 12 to 24 days.

3. They don't reply to emails at all even though it says a response will come in 2 to 4 hours.

I know you're out the domain registration fees but these problems will only persist.

You should seriously consider moving to godaddy.com or namecheap.com

More strange stuff with registerfly.com, I decided on a whim to use their bulk tool to change DNS of the 4 domains I have there and instead of DNS1.registryfly.com it uses DNS1.NAME-SERVICES.COM

I search on google to see what's what and: http://www.enom.com/aboutus.asp

hmmmmm....

I decided to do a live chat with registryfly.com and they admit the .be domains have a major problem with DNS management. They say they are working to fix it. I will check back in time and see if anything changes.

Update: Last and final post for this thread but it appears that registryfly is getting around their .be DNS problems but having users open support tickets and technical support changes the DNS server themselves. This kinda sucks but at least the .be domains will be useable.

Anybody who wants or needs a .be Domain should sign up at freebe.be it is activated fast and the DNS management actually works.

You ignore good advice. You deserve your lumps.

namecheap.com and godaddy.com for people who want to avoid your mistakes.

They don't offer the free .be Domains though and $17.49 is a little bit to steep so that leaves us with freebe.be which is ok and at least works fast and is FREE for the first year.
