One Displayport Active

I am using 2 7970 Gigabyte cards on a Dell U3011 flanked by a U2007 on each side. All drivers after the 14.2 Omega will not let more than one DP port function at one time.

I have the U3011 connected with a DVI-D and the U2007's connected with a mini DP to DVI cables.

One of the DP is always disabled. I can disable the other one from inside CCC and that will enable the other monitor. I am only trying to extend the displays not run EF since these cards do not support this setup. It has always worked perfectly fine with 14.4 and earlier drivers.

What has changed? I should not need an active adapter with this setup since I am not running EF, only extending my displays.

Don't have an HDMI port on my monitor. I found out that it may be be a quirk in the drivers that let me hook them up when I should have had an active DP port adapter.
