I was just at the San Jose CompUSA at 634 Blossom Hill Rd. They had a bunch of clearance stuff out on tables in front of the registers. They're having a 50% off sale. Any item marked with a red sticker is 50% the stickered price.
They had a Phillips Tivo there with a remote but no cables. It was pretty scratched up, an obvious display model. The remote seemed like it was in good condition, but it still had the display cable around it. Sorry, I didn't get the recording capacity of the thing.
The price on the red sticker was $240, which meant (and the person and the register confirmed this) that it was on sale for $120.
I was going to pick it up, but I can't afford it right now, I want to get a replay do I don't have to pay the subscription fee, and one of these days I want to set up a TiVo net. Anyway, it was there when I left tonight a little before 9:00 pm.
