I have one full day... where shall I go? What shall I see?

The rest of the week I'm here, but I work all day... so I've been checking out the nightlife... Gate 2 and all that. What shall I do during the day though?

Wikied it.... holy crap. They have gay villages in Japan!!! man that must be weird...

From the Wiki entry:

Procedure
Nanpa tends to occur on busy streets and other lively public places. Young men stand at the edge of the street and watch passing women. When a woman strikes a man's fancy, he typically invites her to a café or karaoke bar. The evening may finish with a visit to a love hotel, or at least the promise for a second rendezvous. Although it is rare in practice, nanpa is socially acceptable in Japan, and tolerated as a natural youthful indiscretion.

Homosexual nanpa
There also exists a homosexual nanpa culture, especially within the gay village of Shinjuku ni-chome

Break ice blocks in local city, do the bone dance, train with ancient drum, survive a hurricane, oh yeah...visit Miagi's village like the dude above said.

Qwest totally beat me to the Karate Kid 2 reference, and he took all of them 🙁

Go visit Mr. Shuichi Tokanaga at As-Pro, Inc. / Island Brothers Surf Shop in Naha.

He's a wonderful person.
He also loves to show off the sites of Okinawa.
You will like him.

But people of Okinawa don't even like to think about the fact they're owned by Japan.
There's a strong undercurrent of pride in being Okinawan, and they pride themselves on being distinct from the Japanese.

They've been owned by China & Japan back & forth through centuries, and also have been independent.

In a sense, Okinawa is "occupied" by Japan, + US military.

The Okinawans are really wonderful people. When you're forming your opinions as expressed above, Okinawans can't fairly be lumped in together with the regular Japanese.

Have you ever seen a display of true Tycho drumming? Catch that at night on Okinawa if you have the chance.

check out kokasi street in Naha, the aquarium in Nago, the naval underground tour, battle sites tour. Outstanding scuba diving around here, but its a sh|itty rainy day today.

Okinawa is amazing. I've been there, its beautiful.

Japan itself is amazing actually.

There is a lot of stuff to do

Hit on Girls
Used panties vending machines
Food is awsome over there
Eat Champruu
Eat Something-andagi. Its a kind of donut, I forgot what the full name was
Takoyaki is a given
Souvenir shop. Shisaas are common souvenirs because they are mostly handmade and are beautiful
Mountain Hiking
Visit the Ruins and temples. One of the temples there is famous because its on the Japanese 20,000 yen bill. (I think it's the one in okinawa, it might be another one)
Scuba Diving
Beaches
More hitting on girls(Helps if you are asian, but also helps if you are tall, white and blond. Some girls seem to really go for people like that)
Beaches
Boat Rides(Normal tours, then speedboats, water skiing, and banana boats)
Just browsing the city- I think its the most fun because there are so many things. Night is pretty cool, but can become hectic.

Etc.

I'm trying to think of other stuff I did, but its been so long, I don't remember everything

I did not say okinawans are bad. I only asked the OP to piss or spit or take a dump on those crazy Japanese Soldiers shipped from Mainland Japan to do the sake-loaden BANZAI charges on our young troops.

Those people buried in the ground are the real baddies!
