One computer, two+ users?

I have one computer, but I have two video cards,mouse,keyboards,monitors..etc

I wanna share my computer(1) with one other guy.

I think there is a program let you share one computer to split to two screen.

Any program suggestions?

I had suggested a couple of years ago that my PC was more powerful than mainframes of 20 years ago... why couldn't my computer operate a dozen or so workstations?? I struck out in finding a good answer/good software.
