One can determine what PSU I need based on just knowing my motherboard...YAY!!!

I can only assume that they're telling you what PSUs are compatible with the CPU power connector the board takes. So it my case, it seems to be listing all of their PSUs that have an EPS12V. Also, ones that have enough power connectors for a multi-GPU board, etc. A bit gratuitous though...

I had put in P5K Deluxe into the options there, and it was showing really high end PSU's

P5K-E is closer to Deluxe than P5K
