Skoda Tudor

Never would have thought that Skoda would build something like that! It's a concept-car, but it looks to be production ready! Come on Skoda, make me happy and start making those cars!

Nemesis77, that is a nice looking car. Wonder what it'll retail for?

Nice! Guess the old joke, "What do you call a Lada with a turbo? A Skoda." doesn't apply anymore. :)

Well, first they have to decide whether to build it or not, that's just a concept (altrough it seems ALOT like production-ready). As for the price... It should be affordable :). Skodas are traditionally cheaper than comparable VW's for example. And the quality is high.

Nope :). They are just as good as VW's are now-a-days. I would go as far as say that they are BETTER than VW's are!

Thanks Nemesis77, I'll have to keep an eye on the car mags and the net.

Yep, the very first thing I thought was, "gee, they copied the 3 series."

To me it looks more like a Passat than anything else. But hey, most cars in this segment look similar.

That's because according to the website, it's based on Skoda Suberb / VW Passat. I personally think it's based on Skoda Octavia (close relative to VW Gold/Jetta/Bora). At least, the dash is from Octavia/Bora.

Ahhh, the beauty of platform sharing among owned subsidiaries.

Yep, VW is big in to that. For example, these cars share the same platform:

VW Polo, Seat Ibiza/Cordoba, Skoda Fabia
VW Golf/Bora/Jetta, Skoda Octavia, Seat Toledo/Leon, Audi A3
VW Passat, Audi A4, Skoda Superb

Of course, there are some differences between the models. For example Superb has longer wheelbase than Passat does, while A4 is slightly smaller than Passat (if I remember correctly)
