Ok, I have one Asus 6800 Ultra (PCI-E) & Dual Samsung SyncMaster 213T's

I have tried using Nvidia's nView, and UltraMon...

It appears with each, that I am unable to run a game (world of warcraft) in one monitor, and have my desktop in the other. When I do try, the 1st monitor with my game has horizontaly scrammbled lines that go thru it every inch or so. While the 1st monitor freaks out, the second monitor with the desktop downsizes its resolution to something other than the 1600x1200 that it is normally set to.

any ideas on wtf is wrong?

I'd really like to run the game in both sreens at once, but I really doubt thats possible

Dual monitors + gaming = headache

I've tried to get it working on multple systems with totally varied configs over the years and have yet to get it working right. There's always one or 2 apps that won't work with it and games of course never play nice. You may have to just disable the second monitor when you game.

Yupyup. And it's even harder when you want to run a game on one screen in a full screen mode and use the other one for web browsing or even another game. (Diablo 2 ^_^ )

Does anyone know if buying a second video card, and not running it in SLI, will enable me to play a game in one screen and have my desktop on another?
