Cops are shot dead every week. They have a damn good reason to fear the public. Which in turns results in them shooting if you so much as flinch the wrong muscle. It's not nice out there on our streets.

Cop deaths are at all time lows. Majority of cop deaths are from car accidents.

I wasnt race baiting. Sorry if thats how I came across. My point was about senseless cop murders.
Sadly, if I pick a senseless cop murder at random, theres a better than fair chance it was committed by a black American male. Or at least, if I pick one that was immediately reported in the news. Its possible theres tons of whites killing police all the time in America, but the news doesnt jump on it right away.

I didn't think you were, i am sure that Jhhnn's little pronouncement about "equal time for white killers" was intended though.

...and I bet there's some rap crap out there that talks about killing cops which doesn't help that culture of corruption.

A day without Murder is like a day without your Morning Coffee. Not horrible, but just a little strange and off putting.

"The first person to mention the Massachusetts furlough program in the 1988 presidential campaign was Al Gore. "

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willie_Horton

The first person to mention the Massachusetts furlough program in the 1988 presidential campaign was Al Gore. During a debate before the New York primary, Gore took issue with the furlough program. However, he did not specifically mention the Horton incident or even his name, instead asking a general question about the Massachusetts furlough program.

I dont know why a 30 year old issue was brought up, but we arent covering new material in any case.
Obviously letting out a violent felon was not wise. Even if you support furlough programs in general you'd clearly never let a murderer out if you were paying attention. Somebody made a huge mistake. It doesnt mean that furlough programs are bad or democrats are soft on crime.
