As have you lol
I doubt an objective reviewer of the posts would agree. You're all over the map, expectedly, with your support / defense of your position, including a couple red herrings.

What's all over the place? I support full background checks on FFD sales but not on private. I've never veered from that.I doubt an objective reviewer of the posts would agree. You're all over the map, expectedly, with your support / defense of your position, including a couple red herrings.
Objective reviewers of posts around these statements will probably disagree. What's all over the place? I support full background checks on FFD sales but not on private. I've never veered from that.
Are background checks in the 2A?
I'd that were a requirement for private sales, the onus would be on the seller to submit the background check to a FFD. If he doesn't, he would be a criminal. Do you know how easy it is to buy a gun off the street in any city?
Oh hi I'd like to buy your gun.
Sure. Let's fill out this paperwork
Uh..... No thanks.
Walks away thinking damn. I'll never get a gun.
1 to 10 how likely would this happen?
Lol
Most states already require this for FFA sales.
And? Most isn't all. And if most states ready do, then what's the problem?
Besides, your argument was that it's an undue burden and won't change anything. Are those states that do encouraging this undue burden also? Guess so.
Thirteen states require background checks even for private sale. IMHO it's a burden on legit gun owners.
That's not most, not even close.
We aren't required to validate license and insurance for a private car sale, and cars are deadlier than guns.
Look at this red herring over here.
Makes my point though
No, it doesnt at all. It's meant to distract. Guns are not cars, period.
We're just going to have to disagree on our perceived effectiveness of HR8. Neither one is going to change the mind of the other.

Personally I dont think the birtherism thing is about race so much as it is about not liking her political views. Have you found ANY elected Republicans quoted as saying she cant serve because she's black?
But then, when youre a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
If you need to use the N word, pay a black man to say it.Right on queue. Although he is black is is Trump's hired house boy. The token Trump uses to disparage other black people. I see him often.

Fox guest calls Kamala Harris ‘Hillary in blackface’ in shocking exchange
Offensive moment left panel momentarily confusedwww.independent.co.uk
I think you are right? He just riles up all of racist America to ram his "politics" through with.Personally I dont think the birtherism thing is about race so much as it is about not liking her political views. Have you found ANY elected Republicans quoted as saying she cant serve because she's black?

There are many who think she shouldn't serve because she is black. Just so happens the law allows her to run.Personally I dont think the birtherism thing is about race so much as it is about not liking her political views. In this case it would be appropriate. Just like I couldn't properly tell the story of why Muhammed Ali refused to be drafted when he said "No Vietcong ever called me n-----"If you need to use the N word, pay a black man to say it.
this guy said it

Trump Questions California-Born Kamala Harris’ Eligibility To Be Vice President
Legal scholars have pushed back hard on the argument that Harris is ineligible under the 14th Amendment, calling it ‘baseless’ and ‘truly silly.’www.forbes.com
This silly conspiracy theory has nothing to do with skin color. Try again.
So per the President she *may* not be eligible because of the birth place of her Parents, not her.
Come on man i know you are smarter than this.
What does nationality have to do with skin color?
Come on man I know you are smarter than this
Come on man I know you are smarter than this
Why cant you answer the question? Do you agree is a dark skinned person and a white blonde person (skin color) are both born in the USA (nationality) they are both Americans?
Post 190 moron.I do and appearently the President is not sure.
Stop being a moron.
And where the fuck did you ask me this question?
Post 190 moron.
Yeah that’s real clear.
I’ll ask you is the President a moron for questioning Kamala’s Eligibility?
See it is a direct question can be answered with a yes or no
Yours is an open ended question which doesn’t demand an answer because it is a statement.
Really? I suppose it is just a coincidence that the only two candidates who have been attacked by the birthers are both, you know.....black.This silly conspiracy theory has nothing to do with skin color. Try again.

She is of mixed race actually. Still waiting for the "white" candidate who has been attacked by the birthers.IMHO, yes, and irrelevant. I never thought the same stupid conspiracy theory against Obama was racist either. The very little Ive read about Kamala's theory I havent heard anything about she cant serve because she's black. Its always been because her parents were aliens.
According to the dictionary, the definition of racism is the belief that different races possess distinct characteristics, abilities, or qualities, especially so as to distinguish them as inferior or superior to one another. I dont hear that coming from the wackos claiming she cant serve. Dont get me wrong, Im sure theres a few dozen who DO think that, but everything Ive read has to do with her birth.
I think we throw racism around al but too much in the last 10 years and have diluted the true terrible meaning.
edit: oh and she's not black. She's Indian. (see what I did there?)
