Onboard video disabled?

If I add in a video card, can I still use my onboard geforce 6100 to power a 3rd monitor, mainly for 2d? I Think the Radeon X200express supports this but how about the 6100?

As far as I know yes, it is best if you have the same brand of video card in (in this case Nvidia)

But I am not completely sure check with someone else

hmmm....i thought you had to disable onboard for the video card to even work?
