Onboard sound

I bought a creative sound blaster Xi-Fi platinum and it's been giving me nothing but trouble like not fitting in the case or not being able to install drivers for it. I've pretty much had it with the card and I'm going to use the onboard sound chip on my motherboard.

I was wondering if it would be a bad idea to use the motherboard soundchip or should I just
buy another creative sound card?

Hope you are not serious about using on board sound rather than using SB xifi.
If you have any on going issue using xifi, list them out here and let someone help you with. Disable the on board sound from bios is my suggestion! Good luck! 🙂

is it really that bad to use it? I have given up on using the creative sound blaster Xi-Fi, I guess I can go buy me a cheaper verison of the xi-fi card at best buy.
