Onboard Sound qestion...

How is the onboard sound chip quality (of the Asus A7v133) compared to a Creative Labs Ensoniq AudioPci? Or for that matter any 30$ sound card? Is it better? It is good enough if all I want to do is listen to some mp3s?

I got some info for ya... I LIKE IT. I think it's better than the Ensoniq, which I just pulled outta my machine. It sounds cleaner with less noise. I played some MP3s on it... and it's no Audiophile system, but for PC audio, couldnt' tell the difference from the Ensoniq. Don't waste your cash on any other soundcard... give the onboard audio a shot first.
