hm my A7V133 didnt come with onboard sound, nor did my A7v for that matter heh, ya its in the manual but it aint there. but im very glad i didnt get it, onboard sound is usually crap to be real honest..

I can't give you a direct comparison because I haven't used either of the two sound cards you mentioned.
I can tell you that I'm very pleased with it. It has more gain (higher volume) than any PCI card I have ever used. Particularly nice when playing DVD's into my Boston Acoustics Surrond Sound system.
My friend uses the onboard sound of the A7V133 and he LOVES it. He's very happy that he saved $50+ on a soundcard and spend $5-10 for the onboard sound version. Plus, it saves a PCI slot. Good move for the value-seekers.
