Onboard sound not working when i O/C

I was given a computer.. celeron 850MHz/Asus CUSL2-M. I installed XP on it and it had sound. I o/c the celeron to 1.062ghz. fsb/pci is 125/41. now sound doesnt work.

i had to get it down to 960mhz (fsb/pci=113/37) in order for sound to work

any help in getting the sound to work at higher o/c?

if your mb lets you...lock your agp/pci or select a lower setting that is within spec...125/41 is way too high...most pci device crap out at 40 or below...
 
true...just make sure the vendon has a good return policy...so in case that doesn't work...then you have nothing to loose
