Hi,
I've a Asus P5N32-E SLI motherboard which has a SoundMax SupremeFX onboard sound with ADI 1988b codecs. It's currently hooked up using a coaxial digital cable. My computer was hanging sometimes when starting up certain games and I've figured out that the problem is the soundcard, when "DTS Connect" is enabled specifically. The games being Stalker, Company of Heroes and any others that have surround sound that I tried. I've got the newest drivers from Asus's website.
Anyone have any idea what I can do? Can't afford a new soundcard at the moment, hooking up the cables using the analog connections isn't an option either and really want surround sound like the card should be able to do.
Thanks.
