Onboard SATA hot swap

I have an Asus A8N-VM CSM motherboard and I'm wondering if that board supports hot swap on its SATA ports. I don't want to try it without being sure I won't damage the board or the disks.

If you have nvidia IDE drivers and power connector that allow such, and you have the icon in the system tray that let you safely remove this device, then yes, it can be done. I did it some time..

yeah, check the safely remove items button in your taskbar. If it lists your SATA drives you can hotswap them. Just remember, you cant remove the boot drive while its on, as its always in use by the OS and cant be "safely removed".
