Onboard raid 0+1 issue

I run an MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum motherboard with four 74gb raptors in raid 0+1 via onboard raid.

Today, my computer locked up (with the constant beep sound), and I had to turn it off by holding the power button.

When I restarted, it said the raid array was unhealthy. I went into the config by pressing F10, and then saw that only 3 of the 4 drives were displayed. So I hit R to rebuild the array, and then it selected the 4th drive. When i restart, it keeps coming up with the same issue. When I view the array, it still shows 3 of the 4 drives.

Anyone familiar enough with the onboard raid? I don't mind taking out the array completely and just working with the two of the 4 drives, and worry about it all later. I just want to be back up and running again - I'd rather run without the array now, and fix it next week when I have time to mess around with it.

I don't want to lose my data, so please only reply if you actually are familiar with this onboard raid system.

Thanks :)

All I had to do was format a new drive, exchange the bad one for the new one, rebuild the array, turn on computer, and then allow the computer to rebuild the array.

Yes, that's the good thing about RAID 5 so long as you replace the correct bad drive. The worse thing that can happen was the 2nd drive might go down shortly after that. So you may consider saving a copy of the most important stuff just in case.
