Onboard or Seperate SCSI controller?

Quick questions:

Is there any performance loss in using a seperate SCSI controller over an integrated one?

Where can I find some comparisons of AMD mobo's that have integreated SCSI?

there shouldn't be any loss of performance .
boards with onboard scsi tend to be expensive but with a seperate scsi card, you can move it over to a new system!
