Onboard or PCIe w/o going through bios

I have a Biostar G41-M7. The problem is how do I make it auto detect which graphics to use? When I set the bios settings to PEG/IGP it will only display on screen the PCIe. If I plug it into the onboard it will not display unless I take the PCIe card out. I can set the bios settings to IGP or PCI/IGP and it will work with onboard and not PCIe. Is there a way to do this without going through the bios everytime? Thanks.

I doubt it. A lot of motherboards are designed to disable the on-board video when the presence of a dedicated graphics card is installed into the PCI-E slot... 4+ years ago it was very common for a BIOS to run both on-board graphics and PCI/AGP card but not so much anymore. Windows would detect them both and you could use dual monitor that way. Anyway, good luck, but I doubt it is possible with your motherboard. To have closure on this issue, you should contact the manufacturer of the motherboard - that would rule out the tiny small chance that they can work concurrently.
